Three Years, Zero Grants
Every board, every scholarship, every session came from someone who cared.
Promoting Queens has run for three years without institutional grants. Every program has been funded by the founder's own pocket, a growing circle of individual champions, and a handful of mission-aligned partners who put resources behind the work. This page is where we recognize them.

Individual Champions
Most of this was funded quietly, by people who cared.
Individual gifts, monthly recurring donors, and Queens in the Park supporters make up the majority of our funding to date. Some sent boards. Some paid for a coach. Some covered a girl's transport to a tournament.
Every one of them made this possible. You will not always see their names on this page, but the girls know.
What Funding Unlocks
Every dollar has a job to do.
Free chess programs
Weekly clubs, camps, and outreach in schools across Kenya and Nigeria.
Scholarships
Tuition, boards and materials for girls whose families cannot afford them.
Coach & mentor stipends
Paying the women who show up week after week for the girls in our programs.
New program expansion
Every dollar over program cost goes toward reaching the next city, the next country.
